Timestamp Conditions

Build Waymore segments using date-time attributes like birthdays and renewal dates.

Timestamp-based segment conditions match people relative to a date-time attribute rather than when the attribute was set.

How it differs

Most segments trigger when someone gains or loses an attribute. Timestamp segments calculate match time from the attribute's date value itself.

Example: birthday is a timestamp 15 days from now enrolls people when their birthday is 15 days away — not when the birthday field was saved.

Common use cases

  • Birthday or anniversary campaigns
  • Subscription renewal reminders
  • Trial expiry warnings
  • Contract end-date outreach

Tips

  • Ensure the attribute is stored as a timestamp, not plain text
  • Combine with channel consent flags before sending
  • Test with a small group before full campaign launch
